New Blog Instagram!

Until recently, I simply just linked my blog to my personal instagram and didn't give it much more thought.

I wasn't really using instagram for my blog, but just had it there so readers who already knew about Ginevrella could follow what I get up to and it didn't link back the other way, i.e. people who found my instagram account couldn't find a link to my blog.

Although I link my blog to my personal twitter (and have no intentions of changing that just yet), I keep my blog pretty quiet in real life. I've always maintained that it's not a secret blog, just not one I'm ready to actively promote to all my friends and family right now! Not many of my friends actually use Twitter, but a few follow me on Instagram which is why I never published a link to my blog on the account.

I enjoy using Instagram and can definitely see how it would benefit my blog. I'm hoping to make more use of it now to drive traffic and followers to my blog - and this obviously means I'll need to be able to properly link them together!

You can find my new blog instagram account at 'Ginevrella_Blog' - and I'd love it if you'd give me a follow!

If you're already following my personal one, I have no problem with that and certainly won't be asking to you stop! I'm hoping to keep the two accounts totally separate and ideally not post the same pictures on both, so it's not like you'll just be seeing everything posted twice.

I'm looking forward to making more use of Instagram from a blogging perspective and I hope you enjoy what's to come.

Now all I have to do is remember which account is which when I'm posting... #confusing

Make sure you're following the new account, and leave me your instagram name so I can follow you too!

  1. I was considering doing this, but I have a personal twitter account and a blog one, and I've ended up just completely neglecting the personal one. I genuinely just looked and I haven't posted since November!! So I guess I don't really want to create a new instagram in case the personal one goes out the window! Good luck with the new one!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I think I'd really struggle to maintain two Twitter accounts - hopefully I'll find Instagram a bit more manageable :)

  3. Hey Jennifer! I have two instagrams too. I didn't want my friends who weren't interested in my blogging stuff to get bombarded so I made a new one and the one's who were interested have gradually found me and followed me on my blog Instagram too! I've given you a follow!
