Tour of Ireland Photo Diary - Ennis, Galway and the Cliffs of Moher

After a couple of days with family in Cork, we set off for Galway, a pretty, Irish town that seems to have been this year's go to destination amongst people I know!

We stopped en route at Ennis, Co. Clare for brunch and a browse of the book shop before continuing our journey to the Cliffs of Moher. This place is rather breathtaking - especially as we seemed to be behind the rain our entire journey so that it was brilliant sunshine over the cliffs! Photos don't really do justice to just how high and steep these cliffs are, so I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're nearby. Oh, and this is one place where you definitely do want to stay on the beaten track - no perching on the edge of a cliff for me, thankyouverymuch!

We then followed the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route to Galway, stopping off to admire the scenery.

After dinner and a bit of live music in the pubs, we returned to our Galway hotel before the next day's drive to Mullaghmore...

Are you one of the many people who was in Galway this year?! Or have you been to any of these places?
