I don't often enter competitions, but when I saw that one of my favourite homeware companies was offering a Miss Darcy mug on Twitter, I had to give it a shot. So when I took out my phone to make a note of a the code to one of the hospital changing rooms, I was delighted to see a notification telling me that I'd won! (I was so excited, but had to keep it cool because I was being given a tour of the operating theatres I'd be spending the next three weeks in. In my excitement I accidentally lost my note of the changing room code and now can only get into the one changing room that uses swipe cards. Luckily that's the same one that has gigantic piles of size small scrubs.)
I got home on a Friday afternoon to find a big box had arrived for me and wasted no time in opening it up. The mug is beautiful. I'd actually spotted it online a few months ago when I decided to buy some zebra mugs instead, so I'm really pleased to own it now. It's a really nice quality mug and the design is so pretty- I'd kind of like to make it part of a set!
Bombay Duck also included a bag and some postcards which fit in perfectly with my room and are stuck on the side of the wardrobe- so thanks for the extra little gifts, I love them too!
